He is passionate about delivering practical advice and solutions and is leading the way in technology development to support the needs of the Financial Services sector. His experience includes:

Delivery of QIS5 results to EIOPA and the FSA
Development of Stochastic PROPHET models as part of Realistic Balance Sheet implementation in the UK and PG110 regulations in South Africa
Articulate risk appetite and measuring risk boundaries
Advisory services for the development of risk management software
Development of web-based tool “TRANSKap” to assist life insurers to manage risks effectively by addressing the transparency issues of collective investments.Outside of work Andries enjoys travelling with his family, especially back to his native home of South Africa, and skiing.
Angela Aylett - Director of Marketing Read More
Angela joined the Global Actuarial team in January 2012 and brings over 25 years of marketing and business development experience to the team. She has worked in the USA, Asia and Europe in a range of sectors. Her experience includes 5 years in Financial Services in the UK and Asia, advising on financial planning for individuals and companies.
Angela has also worked with organisations in re-engineering business processes and has completed an introductory course to Lean, attaining her Certificate of Lean Competency from Cardiff University.
Outside of work Angela can be found in her beautiful garden or with her horse, Kentucky, out in the New Forest or mastering her new challenge – sailing.

Thineshwin joined the Global Actuarial team in May 2012. Since graduating from the University of Cape Town, Thineshwin has worked with some of the largest Insurance and Bancassurance firms in South Africa. He has held positions such as Head of Actuarial Development, where he was responsible for Solvency II investigations, and Head of Valuations with responsibility for the Embedded Value and Financial Soundness Valuations including the internal and regulatory actuarial reporting. Thineshwin’s audit and advisory experience in the UK included implementing Sarbanes-Oxley in an actuarial framework.
Thineshwin joins the Global Actuarial team to support a wide range of projects, including the development of our proprietary software solutions.
Outside of work, Thineshwin is a keen soccer player and a family man. He is looking forward to experiencing the sights and sounds of the UK and, hopefully, several other parts of Europe.

Vibeke is a qualified Lean practitioner and is Six Sigma Black Belt trained and brings to the Global Actuarial team extensive experience in the application and delivery of Operational Excellence. With 10 years experience in the Financial Services Sector, and over 5 years as a specialist Process Consultant, Vibeke has implemented operations management and process improvement projects in a variety of areas including:

InvestmentDuring her Process Consultant career Vibeke has been involved in a wide variety of projects, including: Business Process Reengineering, Finance Transformation, Financial Control Initiative, Hyperion Financial Reporting and Solvency II.
Vibeke’s other passion is her beautiful Portuguese horse Braganca, you will find them hacking out in the New Forest or competing in the dressage arena.

Pamela joins the Global Actuarial team as a graduate of the University of Cape Town and Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa.
She has been responsible for delivering projects in Financial Soundness Valuations and Market Consistent Embedded Value for a large international Life firm. Pamela has also been responsible for a team delivering day-to-day actuarial services to the business and has recently moved to a Solvency II project.
In addition to her actuarial qualification, Pamela has been awarded the Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary (CERA) designation, and has taken a special interest in Enterprise Risk Management. Prior to joining the Global Actuarial team, Pamela served on a national project committee whose aim was to educate statutory actuaries across South Africa about ERM.
Having recently moved to the UK Pamela is enjoying getting to know London and has a long list of European cities she plans to visit.
